Red Rabbit Privacy Policy

Updated: May 10, 2026

No cloud archive

The current version does not provide account registration or a cloud collection service.

On-device records

Collection records, searches, imported images, and indexes mainly stay on your device.

User-controlled permissions

Photo access, clipboard reading, and network access are used for features you initiate.

Red Rabbit is a local collection management tool. We process data under the principle of minimum necessity and avoid collecting information that identifies you whenever possible.

1. Product scope

Red Rabbit helps recognize, record, and manage public share links and related collection information that you choose to import. Red Rabbit is not an official Xiaohongshu (RedNote) product and is not affiliated with Xiaohongshu (RedNote) or its related companies.

2. Data processed on device

After you grant permission, the app may access your photo library to recognize share QR codes in selected or authorized images. It may also read share links from the clipboard. The app may keep links, titles, author nicknames, publish times, cover thumbnails, short text summaries, tags, notes, public comment snippets, and search indexes on your device.

3. Network access

When you import or refresh a share link, the app may request the corresponding public share page to read publicly displayed information. The app does not bypass login, payment, permissions, risk controls, or technical protection measures, does not simulate private third-party app APIs, and does not ask for third-party account passwords or cookies.

4. No server upload

The current version does not provide account registration or a cloud collection service, and does not upload your collection content, searches, photo library images, clipboard content, or third-party page content to our servers. Data is mainly kept on your device. System backups, the operating system, app stores, and third-party platforms are governed by their own policies.

5. Third-party content and personal information

Public third-party pages may contain author nicknames, avatars, comments, IP location, engagement data, or other personal or linkable information. You must use them only within a personal, lawful, and necessary scope, and must not use them for harassment, profiling, reposting, redistribution, commercial use, or infringement.

6. Permissions

Photo access is used to recognize share QR codes or images you choose to import. Network access is used to visit public links you import. Clipboard reading is used only to recognize share links. You can disable permissions in system settings, but related features may stop working.

7. Data deletion

You can delete collection records or share image records in the app, or delete local data by uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or using system settings. Deleted data may not be recoverable.

8. Minors

Minors should use this app only with guardian consent and guidance. Do not import or process content unsuitable for minors.
